Rob Ortiz, MSc, LAT, ATC, PES, CES, CWC, NKT1

Rob is our Director of Sports Medicine. He believes he can help people by following his core values of treating people with honesty, compassion & attentiveness throughout their clinical care to treat the root cause of their pain, discomfort, or dysfunction & not just the symptom(s).

Rob’s primary areas of specialization are rooted in an integrated whole-human approach that respects a patient’s physical and mental health to thoroughly assess & develop individualized preventative, post-injury, or recovery-based therapeutic programs to help people achieve their goals.

How can Rob help you?

Rob works with people from all walks of life and physical pursuits/capacities. People who feel like they have been marginalized, unheard, and misunderstood by the healthcare system at large. People who are committed to investing in their health & wellness (physical & mental) & are looking for a provider that will listen to them, help validate their experiences & partner with them on their journey to wellness (whatever that means/looks like to them).

Rob wants that athlete who feels “broken” because the healthcare system hasn’t given them a diagnosis, logical prognosis, or an understandable explanation of their current condition. He wants the regular John/Jane Doe who are looking to change their health but have been dealing with issues “for years” without improvement but doesn’t want to give up the goal of pain-free or pain-improved movement.

He is here for the athlete, entertainer, enthusiast, and average everyday person who has been physically treated like a commodity by their respective occupation(s) and is looking for help that makes them feel seen, heard, and validated.
